What services does Curated Dinner offer?
Curated Dinner provides premium private chef experiences, plated dinners, event catering, reception-style menus, and family-friendly catering, along with optional wine and cocktail pairing services. Each experience is customized around your event, lifestyle, and preferences.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia. Travel outside these areas may be available upon request and may include an additional fee.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance for most events. Larger events and peak seasons (holidays, graduation season, wedding season) may require additional lead time. Limited availability may be offered for last-minute bookings.
Booking & Payment
How do I book a service?
You can start by completing our online inquiry form or emailing us directly. Once we review your details, we’ll send a customized proposal, menu options, and invoice to secure your date.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 5 days before your event unless otherwise noted.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, ACH transfers, and approved digital payment platforms. Payment instructions will be included with your invoice.
Menus & Customization
Can menus be customized?
Absolutely. All menus are curated based on your preferences, dietary needs, cultural considerations, and event style. We are happy to adjust flavors, portion sizes, and service styles.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. We can accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergy-sensitive menus. Please disclose all allergies during the planning process.
Can I request a tasting before booking?
Tastings are available for select events and may require a tasting fee. This fee may be credited toward your final invoice if you proceed with booking.
Event & Service Details
What is included in your catering services?
Depending on your selected package, services may include:

· Setup and breakdown
· Cleanup of the kitchen and service area

Do you provide staff for events?
Yes. Professional servers, bartenders, and event support staff are available as add-ons or included in certain packages.
Do you provide rentals (tables, chairs, linens, glassware)?
Rental coordination is available upon request. Rental costs are not included unless specified in your proposal.
What is your minimum guest count?
Minimums vary by service type. Private chef experiences may start as low as 2 guests, while catering services typically begin at 10 guests.
Beverage Services
Do you provide alcohol?
Alcohol is not included unless otherwise stated. We offer wine and cocktail pairing services, including recommendations, sourcing assistance, and on-site mixology. Clients may also supply alcohol in accordance with local laws.
Do you offer non-alcoholic options?
Yes. We offer curated mocktails, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic beverage pairings suitable for all ages and preferences.
Changes, Cancellations & Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are subject to our catering agreement. Deposits are non-refundable. Additional charges may apply based on how close the cancellation is to your event date.
Can I change my guest count or menu?
Guest counts and menu selections must be finalized 5 days prior to your event. Changes after that deadline may not be accommodated and may incur additional fees.
What happens if my event runs longer than scheduled?
Events that exceed the agreed service time may incur overtime charges for staff and equipment.
Changes, Cancellations & Policies
How early does your team arrive?
Arrival times vary based on the service type and menu complexity. Typically, our team arrives 2–3 hours prior to service for setup and preparation.
Will you clean up after the event?
Yes. We clean all food preparation and service areas we use, leaving your space tidy and stress-free.
